Lance Mauro, MSW, CAP

A licensed clinical social worker and certified addictions professional, is a graduate of The University of South Florida School of Social Work, with a geriatric internship through Tampa Veteran's Administration Medical Center.  He served as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor for private and public outpatient and inpatient programs and opened his private practice in 1989.  He has developed specialties in child and adolescent therapies, marital therapy, coping with illness, psychological trauma, and addictions issues.


Rosalind Gaines, MSW, BCD

a licensed clinical social worker, is a graduate of New York University's Graduate School of Social Work, with internship at The Staten Island Hospital. She served as a therapist in community mental health and rehabilitation settings and opened a psychotherapy practice in New York 20+ years ago. Areas of specialty include domestic abuse, other trauma, and relationship therapies for adults 18 years and up.

Thomas J. Christiansen, Ph.D.,

a licensed psychologist, is a graduate of The University of North Texas, with internship at the University of Miami Medical School. He served as Director of Children's Services and Adult Outpatient Therapy for one of the largest behavioral health centers in Palm Beach County for over 12 years.  His specialty areas include child, youth, & family therapy, psychological assessment, & behavioral medicine.

Stephen R. Blumberg, Ph.D.

a licensed psychologist, is a graduate of The Florida State University, with internship at The University of Oregon Medical School.  He has spent over 25 years in the development and implementation of a structured protocol for the treatment of Panic Disorder.  Dr. Blumberg has developed additional specialties in anxiety, phobias, and stress-related medical disorders and is available to work with adults 18 years old and up.

She has been the spirit and voice of Mauro, Reynolds and Associates since we opened our doors 15 years ago. She continues to be our greatest asset for maintaining continuity amidst the multiple tasks of our office. 


Dawn M. Jackson, Psy. D.

a licensed psychologist, is a graduate of Rutgers University, with internship and fellowship at Yale University's School of Medicine.  She served as coordinator and psychotherapist for a psychological clinic and for Beth Israel Medical Center's domestic violence program prior to five years as primary psychologist consultant for a major medical rehabilitation campus.  She has developed specialties in domestic violence, coping with illness, grief, lifestyle transitions and women's issues.  She is available to those with cross-cultural concerns.

Cynthia L. Reynolds, Psy. D.

A licensed psychologist, is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, with internship through Denver Department of Health & Hospitals. She served as director of adult & adolescent hospital programs and supervisor for psychologists-in-training before entering private practice in 1987.  Her diverse practice is focused on the spectrum of developmental concerns specific to young adults through elder adults.  Specialty areas include: anxiety and stress, aging issues, coping with illness, caregiver depression, couples therapies, and psychological assessments for individuals, couples, and forensic issues.  She also provides social security disability evaluations for the Office of Disability Determinations.
